Pāli (ancient Indian dialect used in Buddhist Canon) shared the same root of English. Moreover, the grammatical structure is similar to English. For the students in Buddhist University who know Pāli well, when the instructor compared or illustrated the grammatical structure as well as root-affixation, the students especially the monks could apply such relation to improve their English ability and they can explain others by applying the similar grammatical rules and affixation in Pāli and English.
