MAKING LESSONS MEMORABLE : TEACHING YOUNG LEARNERS

Understanding how young learners learn can help teachers much in making the lessons memorable and interesting. Actually young students not only have short attention spans but also are extremely energetic and they learn best when they are having fun! Therefore, as a teacher, instead of trying to keep them sitting still, we need to focus this energy into engaging activities that help them learn, communicate and retain language in their long-term memory. In this hands-on, practical workshop, we will share ideas about how to achieve these aims through stimulating, minimal preparation activities and games. We’ll also explore how to present and practice vocabulary in an engaging and memorable way.
